As of May 11th, 2020, CalPERS’ Automated Real Estate Investment System (AREIS) page has moved to https://areis.calpers.ca.gov/MRIWeb/. Please update your bookmarks.

AREIS Upgrade

The AREIS system has been upgraded from version 4.1 to 10.5. This upgrade provides for some changes to the look and feel (all menu items are now found by clicking the “hamburger” icon at the top left, and logout, password changes & user settings can be found by clicking on your username at the bottom.

Browser simplification

The new version removes the restriction on Internet Explorer – now all browsers are supported, however we do not recommend Edge for various reasons. It also removes the need for custom plugins, which should make connecting a new PC much easier.

Navigation changes

The biggest difference (other than the browser changes) is that the menus and user links have moved. Menus can be found in the "hamburger" icon at the top left. The user menu (log out / password change) is at the bottom of the page, and can be accessed by clicking on your username.
